London Utility Commission
US 25 Waterline and Sanitary Sewer Relocations
$15M
US 25 Waterline and Sanitary Sewer Relocations
To alleviate congestion, KYTC is widening and relocating U.S. 25 is the southern portion of the City of London, KY beginning in 2026. With that, the London Utility Commission will relocate water and wastewater facilities to accommodate the roadway improvements. This work will include the relocation of approximately 20,000 linear feet of waterline ranging in size from 3-inch to 12-inch, 22,000 linear feet of sewer lines ranging in size from 4-inch to 18-inch, 93 sewer manholes, and a 1,000-GPM sanitary sewer pump station. LUC’s utility relocations are estimated to cost $15m of the overall $100m roadway project.
